AKOLA: In a surprise and shocking revelation, the mother of 3-year old Harsh was found to be his murderer and arrested. The middle aged mother Chanchal Ganesh Chandan, resident of B-30, Mahsul Colony behind central ST bus station, had put forth the story of a foiled robbery which proved to be false, the police claimed.

Chanchal is reported to be a psychic patient and under a psychic attack she brutally stabbed Harsh, the police informed. The tragic and bizarre incident took place on the evening of November 14 on the day when entire country was celebrating Children’s’ Day.

Harsh, who received 16 stab injuries on his stomach died in a private hospital on the night of November 17 last. The next morning around 500 people along with relatives took Harsh’s body to Civil Lines police station and manhandled the DySP city division, Ramrao Patond.

The women who participated in the protest presented bangles, sari and blouse to the officials. As many as 18 persons were taken into custody on suspicion. However, the police failed to get any clue.
